Home Care Is More Accessible Than You Think

Many senior citizens do not get the home care services they deserve because they believe that it is too expensive or that they will not receive the support they need. However, home care services are actually much more accessible, beneficial, and helpful than you would think. These services are dedicated to not only helping you with your day-to-day needs but to improving your quality of life as well. Here are a few of the ins and outs on home care service providers in Hawaii:

  • Affordable

A common misconception that many people have on in-home care service providers in Big Island, Hawaii is that they are expensive. After all, you are receiving an array of services that range from homemaking to personal care. Many people spend a fortune on maid services, so how is this different? Well, home care services are considered to be a form of care. Thus, our services are more affordable to ensure that individuals in need can receive the support they deserve. Many insurance plans also cover the costs, thus making these services cost little to nothing.

  • Personalized

A lot of people do not bother with in-home care service providers in Hilo, Hawaii because they feel like they either do not need the help or that having a caregiver would be a waste of time. However, our in-home care services are personalized to meet your needs. This means we tailor our support to ensure that you are receiving assistance that can help improve your quality of life and maintain your independence.

  • Better Than Nursing Homes

The alternative to home care services are nursing homes. This is something that a lot of people consider when looking for caregiving support. However, it is generally better to go with an in-home care service provider because you will have a caregiver that is dedicated to helping you. Being in a nursing home can mean that you will not receive the care you need due to understaffing or other reasons.

Those are just a few of the many things you should know about in-home care service providers. These services are a great way to maintain and even improve your independence at an advanced age. If you would like to find out more about how we can serve you in the comfort of your own home, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Helping Hands Hale anytime.

The state of Hawaii has determined that most caregivers are considered employees and in order to LEGALLY hire and pay your OWN caregiver, you must have a company established with State and Federal tax ID numbers. In addition to their hourly pay you must also pay for Workers Compensation Insurance, Temporary Disability Insurance, General Liability Insurance, and if the caregiver works more than 20 hours per week you must also provide medical insurance for each caregiver. Therefore; choosing an established agency such as Helping Hands Hale is an affordable and easy solution that will save you time, money, and relief from being in violation of State and Federal Labor Laws.
